Peru Luxury Tours Itinerary

Day 1Cusco – Km 82 – Ayapata

We will begin early with a private pickup from your hotel in Cusco. We will drive approximately 1.5 hours to the train station at Ollantaytambo. From there, we will take a scenic train ride to Km 82, where our trekking adventure begins. Our guide will provide instructions on the trail, and muleteers will organize our luggage.

The trail leads us through beautiful cloud forests with diverse flora and fauna. We will pass small streams and ancient Inca constructions while gradually acclimatizing to the altitude. Our first campsite is at Ayapata, where we will enjoy a gourmet dinner under the stars and rest in luxury tents with comfortable bedding.

After free time to explore and photograph Machu Picchu, we will descend to Aguas Calientes. We will enjoy lunch and board the scenic train back to Ollantaytambo. From there, a private transfer will take us back to Cusco, arriving in the evening.
