Our full-day Vinicunca Tour brings you to one of Cusco’s most picturesque destinations. Vinicunca is Peru’s most well-known mountain of colors. It rises to a height of 5200 meters (17000 feet) above sea level.

Cusco Hotel Transfer.
8:30 am
At 4:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your Cusco hotel. Then, in our private vehicle, we will journey for approximately 2.5 hours to Cusipata town. We’ll stop there for around 30 minutes to have breakfast. Then our full-day tour to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain will begin.
We’ll be hiking through the Red Valley’s breathtaking scenery. This valley is named after its numerous red hills. The Red Valley’s colors, like Vinicunca, are the result of thousands of years of geological activity. Iron is the principal mineral responsible for the valley’s reddish tint.
Along the route, we will see numerous packs of llamas and alpacas. We’ll arrive in Vinicunca after around 2 hours of walking. Once there, you will have free time to enjoy the mountain’s beautiful views. Our tour guide will also explain to you the historical and cultural significance of Vinicunca. On a clear day, you will be able to get some views of the Ausangate mountain, the highest mountain of the Cusco region.
Then we’ll climb back to Cusipata, where we’ll eat lunch. Finally, we will board our private vehicle to return to Cusco. We will arrive in Cusco around 6:00 p.m.
